i hope we arent at number one. i never liked starting out at number one. means everyone does everything they can to beat us since were the number one guy. id rather 3-10 then fight an uphill battle.

Wow, Bama finished third in 66? Must claim the Farmers Almanac NC for that year for one of their 47 NC's.

Bama doesn't claim 1966 among their 14 NC's even though they were defending champs, unbeaten,untied, started at #1 and gave up about 3 points per game. Of course, you never see that in the all the essays on the subject by the butt hurt rivals.

I looked at the preseason AP polls just a moment ago and #1 team never took home the natty but I only went back to 2007.
This was all part of the Hat's master plan.
