If AJ played for LSU then he would suck.

No one knows how good Mett is or isn't. It is very difficult for a QB to play a High School offense against defenses with defensive co-ordinators that know how to stop one pattern passing offenses.

I guess I take more joy in Mett not being very good because of all the homer LSU fans that had themselves convinced that he was their savior. The whole Mettsiah thing was lame as hell.

Almost as lame as a Cajun Bama? I mean, really, wtf? Almost as bad as a white African

Mett isn't the problem nor is he the answer. If LSU is going to run that dull unimaginative scheme they need some game changers on offense.

Miles and his offensive staff have not recruited and developed a first rd player on offense in the 7 yrs he has been there.

Bama's scheme is pretty bland as well, but Saban has recruited 1st rd offensive talent at WR,OL, and RB.

LSU has a lot of solid players on offense, but non are special.

LSU 2012 is looking like 03 Auburn. Stud is playing the role of Hugh Nall. Offensive line coach promoted to OC in way over his head.

Have you not read here? LSU has 8 running backs that would start for any other SEC team, plus Mettsiah would start for any of them as well.

Florida must just have an elite defense.

For the most part I agree with everything in your post. However, LSU recruits enough really good skill position players to run an effective offense. With better coaching, imagination, and scheme, LSU would be much better on offense even with the same players.

Every since Jimbo left LSUs offensive recruiting has been pretty meh. They got some overrated prospects like Randle, Sheppard, Tolliver etc. But when Saban and Jimbo were there they had real talent like Bowe, Davis, Addai, Russell etc. They had 1st Rd game changing talent on offense.

All of their talent elite talent is on Defense now.

They should have listened to Miles, he told them the O-line was not very good. It's why he always went with JJ over JL.

When asked why he didn't put Lee in the game on 1/9 his reply was it would not have been fair to put Lee in against the rush. JJ athletic ability masked the offensive line deficiencies last year.

You were told JJ was your best chance at winning but your fans wanted nothing of it, just the mettsiah talk and how much better you would be in 2012 with a "real QB".

Its 2012 and a full menu of crow will be served.

Both put on miserable performances, but Murray remains the better QB. Maybe Mettenberg, as Verne calls him, shouldn't have shaved the Dahmer 'stache.

Do you ever give it a rest? I can't fathom the thinking of hog fans 95% of the time... If LSU was 2-4 right now, I'm not sure I would do. However, I am sure that I wouldn't be trash talking any teams with a winning record or any kind of bowl aspirations

Really? Is that why LSU started the season 8-0 with Lee starting and taking most of the snaps.

Miles actually thought LSU had a really good OLine last year.

Again......... Talent is not LSU's biggest problem on offense. You nailed most of it in your first post on this subject. Now, you just want to get cute.

Somehow I'll sleep better at night knowing that than if my wasn't even the best team in my own state.. Your program is a joke right now, literally. Your head coach is an idiot, and half your fan base is crying to rehire the biggest scumbag coach in all of college football because they're so desperate to win something halfway meaningful
