Why do some LSU fans want this to be a thing so bad? Its downright weird at this point.
It’s some type of weird coping/defense mechanism.

Dad? Get back to your picture shows! I told you to stay off the internet, it's too confusing for you.

We listened to you frickers yap about that pussy Fournette for a whole season, and the entire college football world saw how that played out. It's just another verse of the same tired song...LF7, Mettsiah, yada yada yada. After how it's always played out, do you really expect anyone to take you seriously now?

I guess we should have talked about Jordan Jefferson and Stevan Ridley instead.

Y'all LBs better grow up quick.
Pretty sure that schedule will be a great learning experience for them.

Print the shirts. Go ahead. You finally have an offense and Clemson pissed the evil midget off. Not going to play out like you think.

Until LSU shows that they can play and win vs Bama, this is trash

You know how most of your fans get after a couple weeks.
You're not like them, nor is Cbandit82.

Lol...if lsu beats Bama this year, it’ll be as mean8ngful as aTm’s win against LSU last year...1 win per decade is nothing to fricking brag about.

Let me help you, because your brain is pretty weak. If LSU beats Bama this year, it will be more meaningful because LSU will be in the playoff and probably the national championship game.

Bama's annual victory over LSU wouldn't be nearly as fun if threads like this didn't precede it.
Pretty much the only thing that has made this game interesting for almost a decade now

Damn that really was a long time ago.

Burrow ain't even gonna knock on your backdoors. He's gonna bury your faces in your pillows and, secretly, you are all gonna like it.
So basically the same thing Bama has done to LSU the last 8x they've played?

Will definitely add to how thrilling it will be to watch Alabama extend the streak to 9.

Dude, until LSU shows that it can actually beat Bama, get the frick out with this shite. Embarrasment
Very much agree with this.
But.
There's been a slight but notable uptick in Gump touchiness respecting the perception of some critics that a number of Alabama's games are little more than televised scrimmages that actually count in the win column. And that those games and the Tide's off weeks coincidentally happen on weeks preceding potentially challenging games for the Tide, if any such games actually exist. [See: Only Alabama can beat Alabama. This is the summary of the religious dogma of Perpetually Undefeated]
Obviously what the OP perceives as fear or nervousness is only the normal slight agitation and touchiness the Tide fan base experiences yearly.
You're completely right to rebuke him.
