Hard to criticize a coach who will win 20+ games/y until he retires.
Wish the SECT meant something to him. But this is him every year-
2023 Razorbacks' Season Ends In Fayetteville Regional while Led by 2023 SEC Coach of the Year Dave Van Horn.
Winning the Division &/or Conference.

I have never had a problem with the hawgs mostly good people.
They do a great job considering where they are located and who they have to compete with for recruiting.
I can say I know they upset us a time or 2.
I don’t think football will be very good for them this year but I think next year they will get back on having good seasons.

Saving it up for Tennessee when they fall short again.

I’ve heard from our fanbase and others on how we haven’t done well lately, but I haven’t heard anything about how we ever did well at all, ever.

No way we should have ever been in any conversation in any sport, yet we are. It’s pretty cool actually.

Maybe because neither of you are still playing?

And those that are don’t care about any team other than their own?

DVH said this team would be average without Smith.

It hurts Arkansas that the media has made them overrated due to lack of research in all phases of the game. They ranked them high on pitching but ignored the bats. One of them had Arkansas winning it all this year on pitching but wasn't concerned with the batting woes LOL.

Egg on face.

Bianco was doing the same.... got lucky won a ring, then the program went to shite.

The 2022 run was awesome, being in Omaha watching the last pitch was incredible.

But having your season pretty much over in late March early April is no fun.

Was never a baseball fan really, but I stopped following after they dropped the trophy a few years back. I'll just leave my stress for fball and bball, thats more than enough.

That dropped the trophy GIF that they made was brutal

If I recall, they did something similar to LSU when their player fumbled near the goal line

Bianco has won 20 SEC games in a single season one time in his entire career and it was 15 years ago. DVH has done it 4 of the last 5 full seasons. Bianco has zero conference titles. DVH has 2 in the last 4 years and 3 overall.

These are not the same situations. Bianco was literally on the verge of getting fired before falling arse backwards into that title. The only people who want DVH fired are the football fans that get bored in the spring.

It is interesting that Kyle Peterson has ranked your facility as the "best baseball environment in college baseball" and DVH has consistently brought in a top ranked recruiting class, several times the #1 class. What kind of staff does he have, any perceived issues?

I think Hobbs and Thompson are both fine. They each take turns catching flak when the roster personnel in their respective areas is down. Hobbs coached the best staff in the nation this year after having some subpar staffs to the point of people calling for his head, and Thompson's offense was leading the nation in homers and runs a couple of years ago before this big letdown year.

I do think Thompson is wearing a bit more thin than Hobbs, though. He's gotta show us something next year. Having an offense ranked 150+ in almost every stat is just not acceptable no matter how much perceived talent there is or isn't with the way we recruit.
