This is asinine. So they believe they can't go off at 11AM because of a hurricane that will have come through the area, but everything will be hunky dory if you give them an extra 4-7 hours?
Here was BR 24 hours after a category 1....

I don't think many LSU fans are upset that UF wants the game in Gainesville

Have you read the various threads like the Hurricane thread on the OT or this one?

LSU fans need to stfu. The game is not being played in BR. End of story. I may not think Mac is a good coach but I hope he shoves a 10 lb bass right up your arse Saturday or whenever the game is played. We're UF not South Carolina and we have more pull than LSU so gargle my nuts

$3.00

Exactly.

A far cry from the revenue LSU would generate from a bone fide home game.

Wishing nothing but the best for all gator fans, everyone in Fla. as well, but even if the game is played anywhere in Fla., from experiences down here, with all the bad weather, flooding, roads closed, hotels over booked, loss of power, a noon kickoff, the home crowd will be significantly affected/reduced. Even when the Cocks' game last yr was moved down here & played in perfect weather, the OBC walking the other sidelines, there were only $40K or so in attendance. Transfer that to the Fla. fans' ability to even get to the game, regardless of where it is played.

That sucks. LSU got hit directly by a hurricane and that's the result.

Gainesville is on the outside of the cone. They will get rain and winds, but the worst of the damage will be well east of Gainesville. This is a strong and dangerous storm. But it is not going to be ripping through Gainesville. Bands of the storm are going to be in Gainesville, but the worst of it will not be at the University of Florida

If we were flooded we still wouldn't be playing on their field

We're 60 miles inland too and we didn't take a direct hit either.
