I still think being down 8-2 in the 4th inning of an elimination game AT GaTech...and proceeding to win that enroute to a 9-1 finish is about the craziest thing I've seen in college baseball. Especially when considering how mediocre they played in SEC play.

So not only was 08 Fresno a 4seed, but they also had the hardest path to win in history at that point. That’s unbelievable.
Why has there not been some excellent documentary done on these guys?

I followed PEAR all season and they were higher on us in many areas than most.
And also, Baseball America had and kept us ranked all season until very late SEC play. They finally dropped us out of top 25 after we lost to LSU in SEC tourney.
But of all the baseball sites these 2 were higher on us more consistently than all the others throughout the year.

OU won this early season tourney this year.
And remember, the 8 teams in Omaha last year didn’t make it back this year. Could be a fluke, no telling with baseball thats what makes it fun. If you get into playoffs you can win it all.

The OU nine wins vs. national seeds is the most by any school in NCAA tournament history!

I do not understand how it is still not the hardest path to the championship in history....
I also am curious how TF they came up with UCLA 2013 a team that went undefeated in postseason play as having a tougher run.
