That's when the CFP began.

If his point was to point out their dominance over us as one Georgia fan claimed then include the previous 5 years.

That was my point. I should have clarified.

ETA: Got my monthly use of the word "point" in two sentences.

Watching you do this is lulz worthy. It's exactly the same as watching the democrats trying to justify open borders and free health care for the entire world. Or third wave feminists trying to make us believe little bitty 100 pound women can beat up 6-3 220 pound bad white men in fist fights.

You sheep humping sister bangers have made me laugh my entire life.

Just showing you the facts. What you choose to do with them is on you. If you want to continue to tout your conference despite them fine, the rest of the country will just continue to laugh.

I mean still if I had to rank the conferences based on where they stand right now currently, the SEC would still be first but by a slim margin over the Big 10 and ACC.

Both SEC divisions still produce contenders; the B10 and ACC are still one-division conferences for all intents and purposes.

That puts them a significant step behind the other conferences that actually produce conference title games worth a damn.

I would go a step further

B1G is really just Ohio State
ACC is just Clemson

While the ACC may come back with FSU, UL, and VT the B1G is just sinkinging deeper into a 1 team conference.

Who besides Alabama in the SEC is a threat to win the title?

Don’t say UGA. They have had a couple good seasons but there are a lot of teams that can say that.

Take Alabama out of the SEC and what does that do to the numbers you like to brag about so much?

Maybe if you could get to the cfp more than once every 5 years you can add to that lead

Sorry, University of Georgia.

How many can say they've played in the CFP championship game? Georgia has, that means they are a threat to win the title.

It's not complicated.

Uga is the obvious answer.

Two seasons ago they got further than Clemson did. If they had won the SECCG they would have made the playoffs twice in a row. If they get ND, they're in the finals.

You think Florida State and Oregon are a threat to win the title too?

Fair enough. tell you what....take Alabama away from the SEC and take Clemson away from the ACC and run the numbers. Your thread, let us know how it comes out. I am betting the SEC will dominate. Do it for the last 5 years like the OP stipulates.

Tell you what...you tell us. how many different teams in the country has ever made it to the Finals of the Playoffs.

ETA
Let me help you. Five teams have made it to the finals. We were one of those and we have been there as many times as two of the other teams.

Well, the fact that you put FSU and Oregon in this tells us why you started a thread like this.
Two questions:

1. Have they had good years the last two years?
2. Have they been recruiting at the level of Georgia the last 2-3 years?

That should answer your question.

I'm not saying we will make the playoffs. We have to go through Alabama instead of a 7-5 Pittsburgh team.
However, a team with the talent we have from recruiting is a threat. A much stronger threat than Oregon or FSU.
