Mississippi and Alabama have to share two programs each
To be fair, Louisiana and Georgia used to have 2 programs in the SEC.
We ran them off though.
I guess that's the answer to your question.
Tennessee will just have to run Vandy off. But they are good at baseball and raising the overall GPA.
The Barn isn't going anywhere. Clanga has to stay to help LSU boost our win total.

Hell no to fsu. No upside in that for uf. They deserve the acc.

1 school from North Carolina, and 1 school from Virginia.
If the SEC ever expands, that IS where the expansion will happen.

Agreed.
Virginia Tech is also not a bad option.
They are the Aggy of the East Coast. Pair them up with Aggy as cross division rivals.
I would love this
Give me UNC from NC and either UVA or VT from the ACC. Don't care which honestly
Then move Mizzou to the west

Or is it actually just about money?
Going forward, that's pretty much all the schools care about.
In 1933, not so much. I don't think the SEC fireside chats brought in much radio revenue.

No, it's easy to see.
It's why state legislatures have had to make threats of legislative actions over the decades just to get in state rivals to even play each other.
It is what it is.

Which is why it's going to be a school from Virginia and a school from North Carolina. The name of the game is expanding the footprint. That's how the most money is made. That's why the Big 10 added Rutgers and Maryland.

The same two it always should have been, FSU/Clemson. We don't need garbage like NC or VA schools.

also see super-conferences,

and shift in media markets.

I could see Miami, and maybe a Virginia school. Not FSU or Clemson.

Then you don't know much about the sec. Never Miami

I know that.
I'm pretty sure Genro knows that.
Doesn't mean that we as football fans can't say "Gee, it won't happen but it would be a lot more awesome if FSU and Clemson joined".
You know, in our fantasy world where we can be king and make cool shite happen.
In the same fantasy world where the Power 5 would play only the Power 5 during the regular season and the top 6 or 8 at year's end would battle it out to be crowned the one, true champion.
In reality, I hope the SEC doesn't expand for another 20 years. If we do, Virginia Tech would be fine. I guess a Carolina school. For now, let's just go to 9 conference games and settle in for another decade or two.
