FSU would have gotten into the CFB playoff, but the ACC fought against going to the 12 team format for this year,

What the hell does that have to do with the current decision? Try some critical thinking.

Actions have consequences. The ACC was so scared of the SEC taking Texas and Oklahoma that they joined a "coalition" with the B1G and Pac-12 and nixed the 12 team playoff that would've gone into affect for this season (in which FSU would've been in). So FSU can thank their own conference for not getting in this year.

Again, how does that affect this year's selection? Please try some critical thinking.

I guess they thought all they would have to do is be undefeated in a weak conference. Sounds reasonable.

Of course they did. A 12 team playoff insures incredible dominance by SEC.

It's already been explained to you twice in this thread. It's not rocket surgery.

Ironic

That decision directly impacted the number of teams going into the playoffs. I know that can be hard to understand but smoke some meth and try again.

So let me get this straight. The ACC is being punished for their decision against a 12-team playoff?

Because they would be in this year's selection. Please try some critical thinking.

They’re being punished for being a bad conference.

So, if there were 12 teams in, would FSU been seeded #3, ahead of Bama and Texas?

Maybe. It would have been easy to justify and doesn’t force the committee to make a hard decision.

Cause the ACC WIlL BE EXPOSED in a 12 team format…west coast teams even more so.

You can spin it however you like. That's not going to change the fact that this year, there were four main criteria. Bama led on the majority of those. This is not difficult to understand.

Nor is it difficult to understand that FSU's conference lobbied NOT to go to 12 teams THIS YEAR where they would have been included in the playoffs.

It is called irony.

“a state of affairs or an event that seems deliberately contrary to what one expects and is often amusing as a result.”

This year? You mean the criteria change from year to year?

I limited my argument so that you'd have a miniscule chance to actually understand.
