If the SEC is best and ACC is worst, then conference rankings shouldn’t matter - SEC should win. Even the #3 SEC team struggled against a aUVA team that Clemson trucked by 45 in the ACCCG. all I ever read on the Rant is how awful the ACC with the exception of Clemson...at least have the balls to admit the ACC might actually be decent even if it implodes the SEC Mantra that Clemson plays a cupcake schedule.

Right now the ACC has ONE elite team and 4 Kentucky/Miss State type equivalents!
You need Miami, FSU, Va Tech, UNC and Georgia Tech to step up their game. Their recent decline is what's hurting the conference's reputation!
The SEC has Alabama, Georgia, LSU, Auburn and Florida that will all likely end up in the top ten. We also have teams like TAMU that would be very competitive in the Big 12 or ACC but can't keep their heads above water in the SEC WEST!

We do not accept your false dichotomy. The Big 12 is CLEARLY the worst.
The ACC gets down-the-standings SEC teams in bowl games.

Seeing as how Kentucky beat VT and Florida beat Virginia, it looks like the SEC is better than the ACC in football.
