Hey man, that's all good and stuff but each time we've won the game.
Are teams printing cups for "winning" 2 quarters of football now? LSU was the only team we didn't lead at half.
Not everything needs to be a blowout. Those games are boring as hell.

And A&M should be proud of that, I said so in my first post. Y'all are having an amazing season

No, but you're lying to yourself if you believe that A&M has been a good first half team, hence the point of my post. You can't be a meh first half team in a neutral site game against Alabama or Georgia, they'll eat you alive

Absolutely. I firmly believe that title contenders (which A&M is) need to win close games at some point during their season so they know how to respond in crunch time. I would just be wary of crowning A&M too early considering your most impressive win is against a 5-3 LSU team that just fired their misfit coach.
My point still stands - I think A&M would likely beat us on a neutral field, but I have a hard time seeing A&M beating both Alabama and Georgia on a neutral field.

Up 49-18 on LSU in BR until Tigers got a last minute TD against the scrubs.

Pull away late? You’re really not informed on the troll you’re trying to pull off
Aggie completely crushed those teams
Just say you haven’t paid attention

Absolutely shouldn't be crowned champion, but also have taken care of business when the game was on the line - which Georgia, Alabama, and OM have not...at least not to be undefeated. I'm not sure how much stock I'd put in being 3 points behind a top 20 team at half. Halftime adjustments are part of the game, and A&M has been exceptional there.
Using your same criteria...
Bama
-Lost to FSU
-Losing at halftime against FSU
-Tied at halftime against Vanderbilt
Georgia
-Lost to Alabama
-Losing at halftime against Tennessee, Alabama, Auburn (!!), and Ole Miss
Ole Miss
-Lost to Georgia (despite leading at halftime)
-3 point lead over Kentucky, Arkansas, and Washington State at half (same margin as A&M-LSU, but against a worse teams)
I don't think A&M is playing their best ball yet. LSU was close but we still had a block punt, an interception in the endzone, and a drive-sustaining PF on a long 3rd down...all contributing to their 3-point lead at half.
I think the bigger thing is how A&M has won in different ways. Winning on basically the final play on the road against Notre Dame early in the season says a lot, bleeding the clock against an opponent (Arkansas?), and snuffing out any chance at an upset against LSU at DV. They've demonstrated they can react and respond with a win in a variety of ways.
Their two biggest wins have been at away games, so on a neutral field I absolutely like our chances. I think your argument has merit though. Against more difficult opponents and better coached teams it's tougher to overcome a deficit.
Good discussion

I'm really not trying to troll y'all here. Here is what I've seen from my research and my own personal viewing;
A&M led Florida 24-17 in the 4th quarter with less than 5 minutes left in the game, then outscored the Gators 10-0 in the final 4:39 to win 34-17. One-score game entering the 4th that ended up being a three-score win.
A&M led Arkansas 38-35 in the 4th quarter with less than 10 minutes left in the game. A&M needed a TD with just under 7 minutes left to go up 10 points and lock down the win.
A&M led Mississippi State 14-3 entering the 4th quarter, then proceeded to outscore the Dawgs 17-6 in the 4th quarter on the way to a three-score 31-9 win.
A&M led Auburn 13-10 in the 4th quarter with less than 10 minutes left in the game. A late A&M field goal gave y'all a 16-10 lead that put the game out of reach.
A&M needed a touchdown pass with 13 seconds left to beat Notre Dame 41-40.
Those are five examples from this season of A&M needing to score points late in games to pull away and secure a victory. I'll give you the LSU game, y'all absolutely crushed them in the third quarter and left no doubt. However, the five games I mentioned above were all still in jeopardy in the 4th quarter and were far from comfortable wins despite what the final scores might say. The only one of those wins that could maybe considered comfortable is Mississippi State, but even that is stretching it a little bit.
This normally doesn't matter, but the question posed by the OP was would A&M beat Alabama, UGA, and Ole Miss in neutral site matchups. I think that A&M's number of close games casts doubt over whether A&M could beat those teams on a neutral field or not.

I 100% agree, great discussion. This is more of what this board needs. I really am not trying to troll y'all at all and I also recognize that Ole Miss has needed to win some games late against teams I consider inferior, hence why I think y'all would likely beat us on a neutral field right now. All four of these teams we're discussing have been pushed to the limit at some point so far, and I think all four teams are better because of it.

That fluke INT off of the receiver's hands and into the defender's hands in the red zone is the only thing that kept it close. Otherwise, that's a 23-3 ballgame.

It’s not like anyone NEEDS to understand.
But it might reduce the mental gymnastics just a little bit.

Arkansas is the only one that we didn’t throttle until the last bit but the others we controlled the games completely

Georgia and Alabama have been in so many big games that I would not be surprised if they competed for 4 quarters.
This is Ole Miss’s best team since division play began. They certainly could compete.
In short IMO, Bama and Georgia win 6 of 10, Ole Miss 5 of 10.
These are great matchups.

WoodlandAggie’s YouTube channel has all of the games (this season because he only does wins), no huddle/timeout/anything not pertaining to the game.

And that was gifted. I think it was one of the LSU baws(good sport about it) commented that Elko was just fricking around to keep the Tigers interested and then pulled the rug out in the 3rd quarter.
I laughed too hard at that.
