Laughable how many LSU fans will bite at any troll post. Worst part is though how many are using those posts as justification to hate A&M and say things like "I now realize why Texas hated you guys."

Solid point! Texas owned your arse for decades yet you still talked shite! nothing has changed except you can replace Texas with LSU

A little intrigued, actually.

What was that?
A bunch of basketball clips?
This thread is about football ... didn't realize the goalposts had been moved already.

Our schools have faced-off three times in the last decade.
The year before last (2012), was only a 5-point difference in the final score.
Absolutely, LSU has come out ahead in these three games; but the false bravado and manufactured urban legends of dominance have become a tad silly.

I have a friend who actually fricked the New Year's Day ham the night he turned 21 (12/31/09). Never been more "nope" in my life when we came home from Waffle House around four to see him naked with chunks of ham scattered across the floor and a small, cylindrical whole in the ham itself.

Bone in or shank?

Buzzer beater in the 2006 NCAA tournament, bro. It was a joke but Darrell Mitchell did dagger y'all for us to advance eventually to the Final Four. I don't know about y'all, but I like to be good in other sports too. Which we haven't been in basketball since that season really.

Most LSU fans know A&M is a program in great shape to ascend and be a legit challenger in the near future. Granted, for all A&M's bravado on here, it is a fair rebuttal that the last 3 times we've met, which are the only 3 in this era, LSU came out on top and in blowout fashion in 2 of them. And A&M has had some pretty damn good talent on those teams to boot. We have the bragging rights at the moment, there's no doubting that.

Just like Bama and :tears: Ole Miss have on us at the moment.

I don't like watching games my team is involved in on holidays. That is for my family - which is waaay more important than any sport. My Saturdays are for screaming my lungs out, not when I see my mother or spend time the whole day being thankful with my wife and kids.

That's exactly how I see it as well.
LSU has played exceptionally v the Ags the past three seasons.
And I'm raising a glass to you as I type this. Swear it.
I guess all of the "we own you talk" makes me chuckle, that's all.

Some of the dorks on here--from both sides of the Sabine River--can beat each other up regarding usage of the word, "rivalry" (though I don't have the slightest clue why it offends anyone).
Fact of the matter is, it is a rivalry.
Always has been (at least when I was an undergrad, it was).
And it's only going to intensify.

Every one of my family members is either an Aggie or a Longhorn, so the game was time together with family.
But for us, thanksgiving isn't one meal; it's an entire week/weekend of celebration together.
The game is but one of those amazing data points.

The Thanksgiving game is a huge family event for Ags.

Maybe so, but I'd rather it happen organically than be forced, contrived, and intentionally promoted by trolling to effect that end. I guess since LSU hasn't really had a rival in my lifetime, just Auburn for a bit in the early to mid-2000's and Bama currently, though I fully recognize it's more related to the Saban, recruiting, and on field battles for the division more than anything. But the animosity just kind of happened, it wasn't intentionally fostered like some of the A&M/LSU stuff seems to be. A&M just doesn't make my blood boil like people from the state of Alabama do. Take that how you will.
