This game will have huge TV ratings and will probably be played in front of the largest crowd ever to attend an SEC game.

Lots of good hype for both teams.

haha, I didn't realize this was such a big deal but now after seeing all these coonass tears I'm loving it even more. I'm really just hoping you guys hate it so much you don't come and we can have the stadium to ourselves for the day.

frick Alleva for being such a pussy.

C'mon, man. Aggies had been playing on Thanksgiving for most of our lives. We would still be playing to queers if they weren't acting like little bitches when we wanted to leave their piece of shite conference.

Consider it an honor. We wanted to play a program that is awesome, with whom we have history, and who will be big revenue and exposure for the conference. We pick LSU. We wanted the best. It's a complement.

I hope that, in time, LSU fans will grow to like the T-day game.

with that said, frick LSU!!!

I think over time the LSU fans will decide that playing on Thanksgiving adds some excitement to the day and will like it too.

This will be a big money game for the SEC and why let dipshit conferences have the limelight that day.

LSU won't be playing A&M on Thanksgiving Day when the game is played in Baton Rouge. Only games in College Station will be played on Thanksgiving.

FYI: Nobody watches college football on Thanksgiving. The NFL OWNS Thanksgiving Day and night. TV ratings for college games are downright awful for Thanksgiving. This game won't change that fact.

Tammany Tom: I wish what you posted about LSU NOT playing on Thanksgiving in BR is true. It is not. Mike Slive and TV want LSU-A&M on Thanksgiving Night EVERY year. It is absurd and just another example of LSU having no real input into running the SEC.

When there are 13 playing dates in the schedule instead of 14 like this year and 2014, see what a Thanksgiving game is going to do to LSU's schedule.

Dumbbutt Aggies.

No one is contesting this.

Why are you acting like we don't notice? We do.

This isn't an accident. You are who you are because we decided it.

I honestly don't understand this "tradition" of yours anyway. Do you hate your families and NFL football so much that you absolutely HAVE to have a game on Thanksgiving?

You'll play when we say and you'll like it.

We know. Texas A&M already has more power than LSU.

Why should LSU care about respecting any of A&M's lame traditions? Alleva really crapped the bed on this one. The least he could've done was get the game moved back to Saturday night on the years that the game is played in Baton Rouge; but we can't do that because Lord Saban refuses to play the Iron Bowl on Friday

Friday is Arkansas' time slot, it is out tradition to play our last game of the regular season on Friday.

LSU is so far down the SEC pecking order, they are lucky aggy needed someone to play the last game of the year since Arkansas decided to drop you and pick up Mizzou to play in our time slot.

We booted Arkansas out of their manufactured rivalry and took our rightful place as a larger and more prestigious university.

Most Rantards I've seen have complained about this move. Its a downgrade for LSU - status quo for TAMU.

Sure is.

Arkansas and LSU have higher bowl aspirations than the cotton bowl like aggy.

Yes. We still have our coveted Friday game slot.

Mizzou is an upgrade over LSU.
