what time will kickoff be? 6 or 7? i actually like it, just kinda dumb to put it on thanksgiving day which is dominated by nfl coverage. the fact nbc is showing the primetime game now won't help, but IDGAF. i will be watching

We've been playing on Thanksgiving alongside the NFL for awhile.

The college game is a decent alternative offering from the pros, too.

The OP needs to take trolling lessons from bama fans. That is all they do here so they are the experts. Yours is just pathetic.

Thanksgiving watching A&M football with family, friends, and good food are some of my fondest memories

Yup. That's why it's funny to watch some LSU fans bitch and moan like we kicked their puppy or something

Throw in Bonfire the night before (depending on College Station/Austin game location), and you just described my most blissful Thanksgivings.

question about thanksgiving day tailgate. So do folks not go home to see family if family isn't close by? If family is close by, do you have thanksgiving then tailgate, or do you still get to the tailgate by 9am and just try to make a combination tailgate/turkey day atmosphere?

My dad's family is from Bryan. Our itenerary was to drive into Aggieland for a family reunion at the community center, and head to Bonfire en masse. Some of my earilest memories are of riding on my uncle's shoulders heading to see Bonfire be lit.

frick, I'm getting chills just thinking about it. Good times with family. I miss those days.

There is an intense level of retardation going on with 90% of the A&M posters on the Rant.

I'm not sure how this came about, but it's incredibly troubling.

Agreed. Us Aggies are supposed to be at 98%. We are not representing as well as we should on this forum.

I blame myself. I have always been a 2%er.
