But I feel like you’re nitpicking this just to nitpick. I also feel like I have a fairly good handle on you as a person, based on many of your posts, and I’m surprised you’re defending this.
It’s probably pointless for me to continue the conversation. Many of y’all are just seeing this as, “Good! Ghey aggy and their stupid male cheerleaders got screwed.” But if this is the precedent that is now being set as acceptable, we are ultimately all living in a new world of filth in college sports.

It's a slippery slope in all directions..
If he is open and honest in April, the distraction potentially sabotage's the current season, when you have a legit shot at a NC.
If he was recruiting to Texas the whole time, I understand your frustration. It's hard to say either way without knowing all of the details..
But how did A&M land two June portal players if he wasn't recruiting for A&M?

I'm not defending it, I honestly feel some level of pity for Aggie baseball. You guys have a good program and just took one of the worst kicks to the nuts I've ever witnessed.
That said, you guys are emotional right now and saying A LOT of things that aren't even logical.

I seem to remember rumors about John Chavis actively recruiting for A&M while still employed by LSU and getting ready for a bowl game. Maybe this is the karma Montgomerys mom was referencing

Our “shot” at the NC now means nothing. Nobody is even discussing it, and those players’ effort is all but forgotten. So I don’t think any of us really care how JS’s tarnished last few games went — they were all a lie.

Prob bc we had other high profile Ivy League transfers on the team who helped land them. I don’t think the players on this team knew what was transpiring back when those portal guys committed to A&M. I have no doubt they’re gone now, so ultimately it doesn’t fricking matter.

You’re GD right we’re emotional.
It’s been less than 48 hours since we were completely sucker-punched, after being on the greatest sports high any of us have experienced in our lifetimes. Then learning that our head coach took that entire staff and the majority of our team to our bitter rival in a cloud of lies and secrecy, and had been plotting to do so for months, orchestrating their NIL deals and salaries, while using our resources to do so.
We’ll be fine. But yeah, for the time being, we’re “emotional.”

In this case, it appears that all roads lead to the same conclusion..
He chose to stay and tried to win a NC. I get your frustration, but he was damned if he did and damned if he didn't..

If we were rivals? Possibly. It's a dog-eat-dog world out there. Did y'all not poach Duke's coach? Hell, we poach coaches. It's a natural cycle of life.
