Here are some of the problems with the 2011 team:
1. Weak on the defensive line. We were actually better suited to play a 4-3 than a 3-4 and it clearly showed this year. Moore, Ennis, Nealy, and Obioha >>>>>>>> Jerod-Eddie, Brown, and Nealy
2. Poorly managed in the secondary. Trent Hunter got gradually worse from his freshman year on and Coryell Judie was injured most of the season.
3. Not conditioned well. This was incredibly obvious from the Oklahoma State game on.

Lets hold back on him being a monster recruiter. He has had one year fighting for the best kids possible. He is doing good right for a number of reasons.
But the title of monster recruiter is built up over time. Not in 1 year.

That team was absolutely winded in the second half of most games. While there were a few changes in the secondary and D-Line from 2011 to 2012, I don't think this year's athletes are tremendously better. I think this year's group is better conditioned. If that 2011 group had the conditioning of this class, maybe they live up to the preseason hype.

A&M has been worthless for about 15 years without Johnny Manziel. I look for them to return to form soon enough.

We probably would have won the Big XII if Larry Jackson was our S&C coach last year. Hell, maybe even with my HS football coach as S&C. A&M was pathetic last year.

How many times do SEC fans need to be proved wrong? The moving target that seems to only apply to A&M is pretty funny.

Sumlin is the total package. He is fantastic with the x's and o's, he is a disciplinarian, he is a great motivator, he is a great recruiter, he is a great PR guy, and he knows how to hire the best coaches and let them do their job.
We will be a threat to win the West for as long as we keep Sumlin. He's the real deal.
