A&M deserves to be in over Clemson at this point.

They have a better win and a better loss than Clemson. Clemson clearly doesn’t have the defense to win a title this year. A&M and Florida are better than what they were when they played. Clemson and ND have looked the same all year. ND is a joke once again. They will he exposed eventually so it will play out anyways.

Its hard to include someone who got blown out over someone who barely lost with their backup quarterback, even though Alabama is much better than Notre Dame.

Just my opinion.

Clemson wouldn’t have scored any more with Sunshine. That QB put up video game numbers and they still lost.

Its not about numbers, its about the intangibles and decision making Lawrence brings to table.

Depth matters though, a loss is a loss.

Agreed!!!!

I think should be in just based on being pussies and postponing back to back games. But they have waiting a while, since that 50-7 beat down, just to get back at LSU.

But yes... a1m should in over Clemson.

frick no!!

A&M has the better win and Clemson the better loss.

Perception plays a part though, Clemson has won and played For several NC recently. The other team is there because this is 2020.

A&M beat a Top 6 team and lost to #1.

Clemson lost to #2.

You're an idiot.

Is Notre Dame really a worthy top 4 team? Maybee Clemson isn't that good this year?

While I appreciate the respect, I think Clemson has the better loss especially with a backup quarterback.

Maybe I’m an idiot, but I’m not sure about that. Ian Book is good, and they look like a much more physical and athletic team than in years past. I’m sure Bama would stomp a mudhole in them, but that’s true of every FBS team more years than not. I’m not sure that’s a good measuring stick.

If it wasn’t clear I also think Clemson has the better loss pretty much for the same arguments you are mentioning.

Hate to pop your bubble but Clemson under Dabo is more dangerous. Dabo is also a better HC. Not knocking aTm, they have a good team but Clemson under Dabo has proven enough and like it or not, Notre Dame is better than everyone thought. If Clemson played ND in conference title, they would beat ND by 10

If Clemson loses to ND once again, the point is moot. Still interesting to see how it finishes with all the cancellations, and games that have yet to be played. A&M is just as likely to lose again at some point as well.

Seen it many, many times before.

ND gave up 30+ to Boston College. Clemson is just overrated this year as well. Honestly there’s not a dominant defensive team at all, but Bama is improving.

Well, several things here. Clemson is without their starting QB.

Secondly, I think MSU defense is pretty damn good but stats would never show it since they stay on the field all day. So, same with Clemson the opposite. If Clemson or MSU moves the ball better, then clock is ate up and opponents score less points. MSU held Alabama to like 34 points until that VERY late pick 6.

That despite we were still figuring our way on offense wirh 3 and outs.
