I agree 100%. It's unarguable and, quite frankly, embarrassing that we have little to show for some of the talent we have put into the NFL. Every season there has been some missing ingredient.

2011- Led every game at halftime, completely imploded in the 2nd half

2012- Lost to UF in JFF's first game, got momentum. Lost to LSU. 8 measly points between us playing Notre Dame (5 if you assume that we would be in if we beat LSU). That was our year, but we weren't quite good enough.

2013- worst defense in the history of college football.

2014- early predictions. We'll be okay, but still "too young" (most overused phrase in college) to make a run.

I like what KDS is building, but we certainly can't use the lack of talent excuse. One season we will have to put it all together for the run. I doubt 2014 will be it. What will our excuse be then in 2015? Needs to change and, hopefully, Sumlin is the man to change it.

Return 4 running backs, including 2 4* and 2 5* backs.

You lost your top 2 rushes, top 2 receivers. And your QB and best player by far, and your start LT.

From a 4 loss team.

Both quarterbacks on A&M's roster were more highly rated than Manziel coming out of high school. Like Manziel, they've got a lot of weapons coming back.

So were a lot of QB's and they weren't as good as JFF. A lot of his success was based on his ability to scramble and extend play, and a intangibles. But hey those QBs are rated better so they are gonna be better right?

Hopefully we both come out of it soon. Would be cool to play UGA or Mizzou in the SECCG in 15 or 16

Yards and Tds are better

Yards

Mike Evas (Gone)
Derel Walker (Gone)
Malcome Kennedy

TDs

Mike Evans (Gone)
Travis Labahrt (Gone)
Malcome Kennedy

The combo of Kennedy/RSJ/Speedy will be better than Evans/Walker/Labhart

We lose the best in Evans but make up for it with RSJ (could be as good if not better than Evans) and Speedy.

Offense will take a step back losing Manziel but I dont think its a big of a step is tRant hopes it is.

No matter how big of a step back we take we will still beat Arky. That helps me sleep at night

thats everyone's montra, our backups will be better than our starters.

RSJ didn't even make it on the field most of the time his freshmen year, and he is suppose to go from 8th option to replacing Mike Evans. Not just Mike Evans but 2nd year Mike Evans.

Speedy Noil wasnt a backup last year, nor was Kyle Allen (not saying he'll be better than Manziel).

The real point is the dropoff from Manziel to the next QB, Matthews to Ced O, and Evans to our new WR corps wont be that big. The influx of Myles garret and others will have a way bigger positive impact than the losses on offense.

The dropoff from Manziel to Hill/Allen won't be nearly as big as the dropoff between Mettenraper and Jennings/Harris

This si a crazy statement for a few reason

1. Manziel was an elite Quarterback. No matter what the talking head NFL drat pundits say he was Elite in college (which is where we play these games) to think anyone can just step in and there won't be a drop off is crazy.

2. You oline got away with a lot because JFF could run for his life and extend plays

3. Mike Evans is a beast, RSJ is not Mike Evans. Wont be Mike Evans.
Your WR may be better in a couple of years, but they will suffer from lesser QB play.

4. You think Myles Garrett is going to be a bigger playmaker his freshmen year than JFF, and Mike Evans and your #1 RB?
