the big donors at our school while influential don't run shite. They get input and called upon to make things happen but generally our AD has free reign to do what he needs to do.

Sumlin is a decent Coach in all likelihood. It is A&M people!! Why all the fuzz about not doing anything relevant? About 6-8 wins per season is their ceiling... occasionally every 10-15 years they will have better 10 win type of season with no championship of any kind. Rutgers, Temple, Kansas… have all at some point have that type of season. Just like A&M in 2012. Nice but irrelevant in terms of Championships….Now consistent winning and Championships.. not the Aggie way.

Wait, is that attention seeking loser not going to post All Aggie All The Time????

That can't be. Roger has sources.

Hyman is a figure head with zero power who hasn't made a single decision since he was hired. He took the job as a golden parachute into retirement and agreed to be powerless as part of the deal. The big donors are making this decision, as they do with all football schools.
This isn't completely accurate. No one person makes a decision to replace the Football coach at a school like A&M. Hyman has a seat at that table but so does the President, the Chancellor, and Members of the BOR. Big Donors at A&M at least are followers more than decision makers because there is no consensus or single donor with that much real influence. Moreso the really big money guys at A&M at least aren't really meddlers, they are informed but they don't actually pull the strings because to cater to one you may piss off another.
The 4 largest influencers are likely Hyman (AD), Cliff Thomas (Chairman of BOR), John Sharp (Chancellor), and Michael Young (President of A&M).
