So the dude is playing SEC football and goes to coach just to tell coach he’s a beta?
You are even dumber than platejohnson.

Why would it be so weird for an 18 year-old away from home for the first time to consult with his head coach about personal problems?
Anyway, there is no indication it went down that way anyhow. It’s more likely that coach noticed some tension between the two or this was reported to him by other coaches or players. He would have also heard that Guice was going around saying he had sex with this kid’s girlfriend, as has been reported by other players. Being a good coach, he would have tried to help the kid get through a rough time and simultaneously ease tensions amongst team members. That’s what college coaches do.

This dude is acting as if this is the first time in the 125 years of college football that a coach had to deal with girl issues amongst his players.

Some people apparently have no clue about what college freshman or college coaches deal with in real life.

I'm still struggling with why these matters fall on the hands of athletic dept employees/administrators and not local law enforcement.

“What is Consent?” According to Title IX.
"Consent is the affirmative and voluntary agreement to engage in a specific sexual activity during a sexual encounter. It cannot be obtained by threat, coercion or force. It also cannot be obtained from someone who is sleeping, or otherwise mentally or physically incapacitated, whether due to alcohol, drugs or some other reason."
Read and weep. Sleeping? Alcohol? Better start carrying around a contract of consent. I guess a guy who has been drinking cannot give consent either.

I fricked a girl that had a boyfriend when we were 16. After she told a few people, word got around to her boyfriend. After he finds out, she screams rape and I have to deal with half the people in my town thinking I’m a fricking rapist. Later on, she did the same thing to another dude so people put two and two together. I’m not saying this is the case, but women lie every day of the week, especially when they’re embarrassed or regret fricking someone. I had my life ruined for two years, lost friends, everything. I’ll wait to pass judgement on Guice.

Dave Chappelle already covered this.

Nope. Doesn't work that way and if both are too drunk to give consent only the male can be prosecuted.

Coach O should be fired
Why?
Sounds like he is cultivating a culture of violence... I mean think about it, "Get the gat", players raping people (and covering it up), piss balloons, STTDB... Sounds like a violent place to most people. Only UGA rivals you guys.. But since you raped them 2 years in a row, they seem to be a step below you guys... So it would appear that LSU is the king of rape culture these days.

21-0 and 8 in a row soothes me these days... Compared to almost a decade of arse beatings, most rational people and mathematicians see 46-41 as a statistical anomaly. Similar to Haley's Comet.

Update OP with a flowchart.
I don’t think this amounts to much because there is not a flowchart and the FBI is not involved.

If the NFL knew about the off-the-field incidents at LSU that went unreported, then the LSU Administration may be in deep shite
There's a BIG difference in a $4 billion NFL franchise expending a tens of thousand dollars on private investigations of a handful of players they are considering using high draft picks on and giving a multi-million contracts to than expecting a publicly funded university to expend money initiating investigations of every athlete in every sport based on rumors.

Yup. This is the scary part for fans.
Although I just don’t see those allegations not being brought to light back then.
Weird situation
