Why replace it at 20 years old? What's the motivation?

Open air stadium that will attract new Super Bowls, BCS Football Championships and a MLS soccer team. Atlanta invested $200 million into the Dome and it generated over $10 billion for Atlanta with just one super bowl and no title game. The economic impact would be huge for Atlanta.

SEC championship? Where else but JerryWorld

Twould be sexy. I think the REC would be happier to have it there as opposed to New Orleans.

The old dome will be completely demolished & the new dome built on the same grounds. Estimated completion 2016 if I heard right. That being true, where would the SECCG be played during construction???

Not true at all. There are two proposed sites for the new stadium. One is a block south of the Dome. One is a half a mile north of the Dome on Northside Drive.

Do you really think they're going to tear down the Dome and leave the Falcons with no home stadium for several seasons?

I just don't think the PSLs are going to fly in ATL, especially until the Falcons actually do anything. The loyalty of ATLiens lies in their college alma mater. Not too many dyed in the wool Falcons fans with the wherewithal to lay down that cash.

Game will be played in the whale shark tank at the Georgia aquarium for 4 years, REC arranged because this will slow down those no huddle offenses that Saban hates.

Nicks staying. the Whale sharks are committing to us too.

Do what the PAC-12 does and give the team in the Cg with the best record home field. If records tied use SOS to determine who gets the field

Holy frick... what a waste of time and taxpayer's money. First and foremost, what's the problem with the current Georgia Dome?

Except it's not. Arthur is paying $700 million of it himself and the other $300 million comes from tourists staying in the city. Where Falcons fans get fricked are PSLs on season tickets...completely different payment plan compared to Rankin Smith's stupid arse.

Legion Field where it belongs. Or we can make any locale home field. Hold on, was that smack talk?
