They’re bringing absolutely no concern just like their little brother and taking up space and bringing other schools money. They’ll be a bottom tier school like aTm has been for 14 years

Austin is a boomtown, name a high tech company, they are all in Austin, and there are tens of Billions of tech projects in the works

Have you actually walked in downtown Austin? Homeless people rampant because the city would rather let them sleep in the streets and run them than actually create affordable housing. Tech bros are going to be really sad when they can't even afford to go out to Sixth Street.

We're talking football.

My third time in downtown Austin we were in an Airbnb. I looked outside the window and saw several tweakers corralled up by a bush. One guy fell asleep in the bush, woman was giving a handjob to another homeless person, and one guy walking around in a sleeveless leather vest, wearing both a fedora AND a chicken on his shoulder.

"Keep Austin Weird" amirite?

What Texas brings to the table is money and power. I hate those bastards, but it’s a fact. LSU will bear the brunt of it. LSU will never again be a football power after the admission of Texas.

There are plenty of reasons to think Austin has jumped the shark, having morphed into a plasticky, cheese-di$%ey caricature of its former self jammed full of flat-brim capped Cali transplants living in over-priced rentals. Most of the truly authentic aspects of the place . . .live music, food, etc . . . .have been hijacked and turned into annoyance.

Anyone that enjoyed the city in the 90s has to recoil at what is become the last 10-15 years.

But Austin the City and Texas the University are two very different things.

Your team is most talked about.... 1) because you've sucked dick since 2010 or 2) because it took you almost half that amount of time to actually join the SEC.

Because you have sucked dick since 2010 while having high expectations the whole. When you continue to suck dick and no one talks about you anymore, you'll then know you've officially hit rock bottom.
