The TROs are not blanket “fifth years” for players who are otherwise NCAA-ineligible.
They apply to particular plaintiffs and temporarily prevent the NCAA (and the SEC in this case) from enforcing the disputed eligibility restrictions.

Why he came: “I think it’s important to stand up for principles. Even if people disagree. We’ve not had people leaving NFL training camps and coming back to college. It’s important to stand up for principles.”
