It was targeting. Now what?

I'm not going and looking it up. You are Georgia fan, you should have already seen it and remember it. Either way, it wasn't targeting but just because Texas fans were bitches about it.....don't be like Texas fans.

First Texas fan to admit targeting here.

Please look at the pic in the OP where it shows the defenders helmets down and being launched into the defenseless receiver’s helmet
Freeze framing college football plays is stupid and explains why so many of you don’t understand why it was a no call, even after review

fIrst in this thread, but there was another TX fan in another thread admitting it was targetting.
Thank you for your objectivity.

I still think the hit on Stockton was targeting, but whatever.

Agreed. Call was missed, just like many others in this game, and every other.
Maybe all the good officials were at that critical Reliaquest Bowl? How did that game go for Alabama?
Weird you want to keep rehashing a singular call from a game your team wasn’t in. No question they missed multiple calls…this one included. To suggest there would have been a definitive outcome had they called the play in question reeks of hurt feelings and a lack of understanding of the game.

At least Stockton was a ball carrier with his head forward and not defenseless.

quote:Yeah so what? It wasn't the only call in the game. Texas had more penalty yards in the game. They dragged Skattabo across the goal line, the had a targeting on our receiver that wasn't called. They had ineligible receivers down field on a TD pass. It was a bad call and they likely, likely, win the game if it was called correctly. But it didn't go their way. Texas didn't pay off the refs or any other horseshite conspiracy theory.

Yet again, what targeting call would Texas fans be a bitch about? Maybe the one in the Texas game. The fact someone has to spell out the obvious to you everytime explains a lot.

Textbook targeting. End of story.
