Auburn is no different than Ole Miss, Arkansas, or Miss State. They are a second rate team in the SEC and have been for over 100 years.

The only reason they are even as recognizable as they are today is because they play Alabama every year. The Iron bowl made them a know football team.

Auburn is the fat chick that we take to the prom at the end of every year.

Scoop..you usually make sense from time to time...I take it back now...didn't they beat you 6 years in a row...and you say not relevant?

That is a statement filled with biased in state hate..Auburn is a relevant SEC team. There are in fact 3 relevant and irrelevant teams in both divisions

Relevant:

LSU
Bama
Auburn

Florida
Tennessee
Georgia

Irrelevant:

Moo State
Ole Piss (debatable)
Arkansas

Vandy
South Carolina
Kentucky

We have enough tradition and history to go around, so if you're a fan of a team who has none, feel free to argue and debate about ours.

well if you count Heismans the same way you count championships, Ingram won Bama's third Heisman

Oops, I see you're way ahead of me. Carry on!

Actually, the official roster lists him at 6'6" rather than 6'8". He was never listed at 6'8" even in recruiting. It was 6'7".

He's probably only an inch or two taller than Cody.

Speaking of DJ Fluker, he and BJ Scott have all the talent in the world but at some point they have to figure out their respective positions.

DJ has another year to prove himself, but Scott needs to be able to help us next year.

I'm having a hard time believing Fluker is at 310.

I would say definitely in y'alls case. They have beat you two years in a row. And starting in 2002 (year after Ole Miss' last win) there are also four wins by 3 points or less.

I don't think Ole Miss is going to Atlanta anytime soon, but they seem to keep throwing a wrench in LSU's plans.

I'll go ahead and take a step out and say that I don't think Fluker will start next year.

So while you may measure your program's success by what they do against Alabama, we Alabama fans do not use the same standard.

bullshite. Bama always measures themselves against AU. That is how they determine if their program is worth a shite. Since bammers know AU is a better university in almost every aspect Bammers care about 1 thing - beating AU. Bama even fires or runs off coaches that go 10-0 but lose to AU. Know why? Because like I said, all a bammer cares about in life is measuring up to AU in the IB.

Yet Auburn has been better an more relevant most of my life. And AU was better before the Bear head to head. And AU has been better after. So, bama is 2nd rate to AU except during the time they had Bryant.

And that is only football talk. In all other aspects of a university and an alumni base, AU>>>>>>>>>Bama.

And please don't open up the topic of how the BARR cheated his way to victories at T/AM and the turds.

Not a very big step out. Fluker is a project. His 5 star rating was based 100% on potential. His senior year of highschool was his first year of playing OT. He might be a RS Jr before he starts. People expected him to step in and replace Andre, but Andre was 1000x more polished coming out of highschool.

Fluker is being prepped to start at RT. I can assure you he is not at NT. The coaches do not experiment with position changes until bowl practices (1st was today) and spring training.
No offense, but I'm going to believe the player who saw it with his own eyes. Unless you're Coach Bo Davis, then I'd side with you...
