Mizzou wins easily at home with a stout defense and a QB with a cannon for an arm.

Matt Zollers has played 20ish minutes of college football.

You beat Central Arkansas by 55 points...Zollers threw 3 passes (took 13 snaps)

You beat Louisiana by 42 points...Zollers threw 2 passes (took 24 snaps)

You beat UMass by 36 points...Zollers threw 1 pass (took 5 snaps)

Through the first 7 games, he played a total of 43 snaps.

His lack of playing time sounds like a poor coaching decision in early blowouts.

True, we however played in four other title(national championships) afterwards. But you will NEVER sniff a title game. I still can’t fathom why mizzou plays varsity sports

I watched some tape on Zollers. Looks like he is accurate and can read a defense. That said like you would expect he is very different under pressure than when he can order a pizza in the pocket. It is unlikely he gets many 5 or 6 second stand in the pocket downs this weekend. He doesn't seem to throw a lot of deep balls and they will likely continue to have a lot of screens and short quick throws for him.

Mizzou needs to get their run game going to take pressure off and shorten the game up. They do not want to have Zollers in 3rd and long very often, that's not going to end well if so against the A&M D. Problem is it is really hard to get a consistent running game against A&M, you can make a few nice gains on a missed assignment but getting 3-5 yards consistently is tough. Just a very physical and athletic front that gets a lot of negative yardage plays.

The way Mizzou wins is if they can keep A&M from going up 2 scores and shorten it up. The D needs to play very disciplined and hope that A&M has some penalties and turnovers. You do not want Reed getting in a zone, he can put up a lot of points really fast. I expect Mizzou will make it hard to run and take away the long range pass forcing A&M to execute short range passes so then Mizzou has to tackle.

A Kansas football scoreboard brag.

This is their best win heading into November, but they revert to bragging about beating 3-6 South Carolina and 4-5 Auburn who just scored 3 on Kentucky when I point it out.

It was coaching malpractice not to get him more snaps running the real offense.
