I'm confused, are you saying your AD didnt ask us for a game last summer, and that we didnt say no, and that your AD didnt run to the media after being told no?

Hairplug Herman would blow a boxcar full of hobos to get A&M on the schedule. He can't afford to lose the state in recruiting again.

From what I have heard is that the SEC has been pushing A&M to get the game going again so it can be apart of their media rights in Collie Station.
SEC is in negotiations with CBS and their first proposal was turned down earlier in the year.
A&M's AD and president have tried to use this game to get equal funding.
Like with everything A&M is overvaluing their position.
Texas can get a HOME and HOME with any university in the country.
That game is not as important to Texas as aggy thinks.

About twice as many aggy students cast their ballot in this election than Longorns did with a similar, non-binding vote on the UT Austin campus.

A&M has already started negotiations again.
Like I said they have no leverage regarding the funding.
If you don't want the game again you better tell John Sharp....
He is making a fool of himself going public with his cries.
