Vandy was a good solid team this year.
Congratulations to Baylor on your victory last night. It was a good game.
Now to your other point. 8 conference games is just fine with us. It used to be 5, then 6, later it went to 7 games. Now it is 8 and we like it just fine. Why break something that is already fixed?

Cause our 11th place team had a stronger schedule with 8 conf games without playing BAMA TAMU or LSU...meanwhile to prop your SOS youvhad to play UT and OK and still had a shot SOS. Therefore your argument is invalid.

It's hard to argue with someone when they dont understand basic things like playing shitty OOC opponents DOESN'T help SOS vs. playing an extra conference game.
Playing an extra conference is precisely why the PAC-12 went to that to INCREASE their SOS overall.

Why argue for less conference games if you aren’t afraid of winning....
SOS is fairy dust anyways. games are played on the field and a prideful conference like the SEC should want to play each other MORE

You are running away with the shittiest Big 12 poster on this SEC board award.

With 8 games currently:

In case you still dont get it, there's no need to go to 9 conference games because the SEC routinely puts many teams very high in SOS already, so they dont see a need to try and INCREASE their SOS even more by playing more conference games. The biggest reason why conferences like the Big 12/PAC-12 went to 9 games is because your SOS was total shite beforehand. Obviously, the Big 12's SOS is still kind of shitty even with 9 games.

It’s pretty simple... SOS is based on wins and losses. The SEC is REFUSING to schedule an extra game to nullify an extra loss to middle or the road teams, crappy teams, and possible top teams because they scayod

EXCEPT IT'S NOT

It's based on opponent's W/L and your OPPONENT'S OPPONENT W/L.
This is why playing an EXTRA conference game helps your SOS not HURTS it when you're in the power 5. Again, unless you truly believe playing Citadel is tougher than UGA. (this is what your idiot self is actually arguing)

The SEC and the ACC have been using this model and is working quite well as SEC (mainly Alabama) has been to all 5 playoffs and Clemson has been to 4 out of 5. The SEC and ACC has also owned the Big 12 in the playoffs.
Maybe you guys should invite 4 more teams and copy our model?

So where is your attack on Clemson and ND? Who both have SOS of 17 and 27 respectively? You beat an SEC team congrats, I get it's the biggest win in program history, but don't go full retard.

I know it’s hard for you to understand, but most of the SEC nonconference games are on the level of Baylor, Kansas, K State, Iowa State.

Yeah the sec sure looked bad last year, first by beating ou and your heisman QB, then having two teams in the NCG.
Other than that your post is legit.

You think a an Aggy team at 7-5, Missouri at 7-5, Mississippi State at 7-5 would be ranked anywhere near the top 25?
You guys are using SOS as an argument is literally proving my point; more conference games means the rich get richer and the poors get poorer. Very simple.

Defending “the model” is just simply stating you are scared.

Your making a case against the Big12. No team with less than 9 wins in that powder-puff league should be ranked.
Thanks for clarifying
