Great job by the SEC!! 8 wins in a single bowl season is a new record.

3-1 vs Big 10.

And Alabama has a chance to bring the big one back home.

I know some people don't believe in conference pride but it helps everyone when the conference as a whole does well.

Well, unless you're Ole Miss. Then it's just wins against Bama.

It matters this year because all everyone wants to talk about is how the SEC is down. This bowl season is making a lot of "experts" look foolish

The morons who chose the bowls are blind. Obviously a more competitive series of bowls would have been Ohio State vs Stanford in the Rose Bowl, Sparty vs Clemson in the Orange, Bama vs Oklahoma in the Cotton, ND vs Iowa in the Fiesta, Florida vs N'Western in the Citrus, Michigan vs Tennessee in the Outback. People say hindsight is 20/20 but how can that be argued? Also Georgia goes up against a 5-Loss Penn State? They maybe should have played Michigan or Wisconsin.

If only Mizzou or Aggy could claim SEC superiority. Hell, Arkansas has been in the league for almost 25 years and they still get shite from the others.

What about the "experts" last season who claimed the SEC west was the greatest thing since sliced bread?

At least it makes it interesting to watch teams other than your own. I don't think there should be a trophy for it or anything.

Very impressive, especially for a down year.
