Unbiased perspective. UNC has gotten the blueblood whistle in the second half and has aloud UNC to put their hands all over UT.

Good game Vols. UNC gets a good road win against a quality team.

Good game. We got cold the last part of the game and deserved to lose. Hopefully we get lucky and get another meeting in the tourney. Both games the last 2 years have been really good. Good luck the rest of the way

VOLS are improved but execution in the second half against Nova and UNC has been putrid.

This was not a game we should have lost.

This was concerning for me with Tennessee last season. I hope this trend ends against good teams for the Vols sake and the leagues sake. There was no reason Tenn should have lost that game today.

After a while, it starts to be a coaching issue. Im not saying that is what it is, but I guess I am saying that is what it is. Barnes should have prepared them for a trap and pressure on the timeout there towards the last minute of the game. Williams always does that in close contests when they are down by a point or two. They let the guy wander in the corner alone and then trap as soon as he gets the ball.

In year three Barnes has taken us from perennial bubble-team/afterthought to a #20 ranking and he's done it with the 5th youngest team in the nation. Our losses are to #1 and #7. Late game collapses suck but considering we were picked to be 13th in the SEC this year because of that youth I think we're doing all right. Also, 2nd halves tend to be when depth and experience matter most and we're a bit understaffed in both areas.

Barnes is going to get an earned pass for the first 2 years after taking over a bad roster. I'd be more concerned with Mike Anderson being in year 7 at Arkansas and getting blown out by 20 to UNC 3 weeks ago, but that's just me.

Close losses to #1 Villanova and #7 UNC aren't going to define UT's season.

Given that basketball has turned into a tourney sport, close losses to teams ranked that high are often a help rather than a hindrance. At worst they're considered neutral.

I'm with you. I just find it funny that a fan from a team who has also played UNC twice in the last year and lost by a combined 26 points with 1 blowout is trying to throw some low key shade at Barnes given his own coach's track record.
