Like I’ve been saying to these clowns on the rant for a long time. Arkansas is the best job in the SEC after blue blood Kentucky.

Downvotes just helps prove it. Get mad, bitches!

Kansas might be too high in today’s landscape but I can’t complain about 6th for now.

Because we sucked for 30 years. We hired one good coach and we had back to back trips to the elite 8 and a sweet 16 finish. Arkansas wasn't the problem. It was hiring shitty coaches.

Yeah I call BS on Duke being the 3rd best job. Maybe it's the 3rd best job in North Carolina. But outside of K, would you ever talk about Duke? All these other programs have multiple coaches with success.

Duke is a relatively new blood only being around on this stage since the 1990s.

Arkansas went to Final Fours in the 1940s, the 1970s, and 1990s...

Just about every job in the ACC and Big East is better than the Arkansas job.

How many different teams have gone to the final four since Arkansas last went? 30? Probably more?

Because a football minded program was scared of putting too much resources into basketball that would make them favor basketball over football. It was believed it would hurt the football program to the point that Arkansas would be looked at as a basketball school.

Remember that mediocre Houston Nutt made more money than future hall of fame coach Nolan Richardson.

I remember Nolan was going to bring in a highly rated recruiting class before he got fired.

I mean, we sucked for 30 years and the only SEC team that caught up to us is Florida.

It's cool though, troll on.

They went to the Final Four four times before the 80's and Coach K and went 3 times in the 80's. They've got a pretty good history before 1990

Why is that? Was there any NIL to compete in football and basketball?

SEC teams that have been to the final four since Arkansas last went:

Alabama
Auburn
LSU
Kentucky
Florida
South Carolina
Mississippi State

also Texas and Oklahoma

nice top 6 program.

15 different programs have won titles since 1994.

Not in the SEC. Only Kentucky and Florida. The rest of you have never accomplished anything other than a random Final 4.
