$62 mil really doesn’t make you rich by SEC standards. Georgia and Bama spend more than that on new buildings and stadium upgrades annually.

So? Georgias has many wealthy donors who give millions. It all adds up to way more than $62 mil. And there are thousands more who give who aren’t super rich too. Money isn’t a problem at UGA.

You can’t take the trailer park out of Misery. And $62 mil will not improve their taste

Stan Kroenke is a Mizzou alum and he’s married to Ann Walton. Nancy Walton Laurie also has a house in Columbia and she and her husband have made large donations to Mizzou in the past.

2022:

Georgia Budget: 1.79 billion

Mizzou budget: 2.2 billion

Correct we're richer than you as a whole system and have identical endowments on top of that. We just now are starting to spend it on athletics over the last decade in a fashion we had not previously.

We didn’t start with zero. We didn’t roll up in a ‘92 escort and bought scratch offs at the boobie bungalow.

So, after some further research, this is a weird flex:

1. The gap is likely larger than this. UGA's #s are from FY 21, Mizz is FY 16.

2. Mizz has significantly higher numbers of professors and support staff. This is the primary reason for the difference

3. Mizz has fewer students and, thus, a better student-teacher ratio than UGA.

4. UGA has more difficult admissions and is generally ranked higher than Mizz academically despite all these apparent advantages.

TLDR - it's six one way half a dozen the other.

Owning a photo lab can make you really, really rich apparently.

Best part about this is it's $50M for the North End Zone and $12m for what is essentially an NIL endowment.

You're saying UGA spends collectively 60ish a year, Im saying one person gave that amount. Combine that one person, with how much we also can spend and thats....... way more.

Hope it isn’t who I think it is. I’d tolerate Bill Laurie over him.

Speaking of….
GA .018
MO .015

In fact, MO has the second lowest total of them in all of the SEC.
