Not bad for a rookie on a 2-14 team from a year ago...

With no preseason and two games in 5 games.

Yeah he made some mistakes but he’s a rookie. Yes he threw mostly short passes but that’s all he has time to do. Had some bad deep throws but also some great ones that were dropped

50% chance he turns into a stud.

50% chance he gets seriously injured with the joke of an o-line. Many a QB have heard footsteps for the rest of their career because they started on day 1 with a garbage team and line.

He doesn’t play defense. He’s given his team the chance to win both weeks

Dumb post. He is on a shitty team but they can build around him, especially O-Line. They need to not only draft heavy there but use free agency etc. Guys want to play for a team with a true QB.

Yeah and it took 61 attempts to do it.

Are you denying the mountain of QBs who were put into the fire with a bad line and they got seriously injured or made them hear footsteps for their career? It’s not personal, I hope he works out and can survive this but there’s a reason the Browns are the Browns and the great teams have their studs spot for a year or two.

5.2 yds per attempt. That’s tough to do.

I'd say those precentages are off. More like 80/20 IMO. Dude just has IT. But that line stinks and will not be overhauled in 2 years

The Bungles have been rebuilding nearly every year of their 53 seasons. They are 84 games under .500 as a franchise with only 14 seasons where they made the playoffs and 2 Super Bowl appearances (no SB wins). While it is still more recent than a UGA NC, they haven't sniffed a Super Bowl since the 80s, in spite of a few good seasons earlier this decade.

Joe is very talented. All rookies struggle. But, he will not turn that ship around. It doesn't have a winning culture and never will. Something is just in the water in Cincy.

Probably most attempts by a rookie too.

I think the Bengals are going to cause his arm to fall off.

The rookie record for pass attempts in a season is 510 by Sam Bradford back in 2010. Barring injury, Burrow easily surpasses that.

Based on projection (only 2 games in, but still), ESPN lists him as eventually reaching 776 attempts. That beats the overall record by over 80.

Receivers don’t have time to get downfield with the time that O-Line is giving.
