Lol you’re so full of it. They came to the house 3 separate times uninvited - once the week before and twice that night. But please use the Myles Garrett story to excuse some thugs busting down someone’s door and assaulting multiple people, including women.
And yet there’s no video of the fight or any of the three altercations. No video of them brandishing firearms. At a large off-campus frat party? Then them coming back multiple times and not one phone was pulled out to record?
And this girl was allegedly put against a wall and choked but no charges were filed for assault? That’s a #metoo wet dream and not a peep?
They’re not saints but I’ve seen enough to not pretend that some frat stars running to the media and Lex Police because the school didn’t expel the players at the student review board is the whole story.
You’re a Tennessee honk. Spare us your outrage.

Delusion at its finest. I can’t imagine defending pieces of shite like this just because they wear my school colors.

Nah. Just recognize that we’re getting one side of the story. The truth is very often somewhere in between one side and another.
The only reason you’re even crying about it because they’re part of squad that handed your team their arse last season. Don’t even try to pretend Tennessee hasn’t had some pieces of shite on the roster that you’ve cheered on.

Imagine thinking I give a shite about who Kentucky trots on the field this year.
The difference is I wasn’t defending and making up excuses for the thugs that came through the program.

You and jdmac and kingistexas should all get together and hang out. Then when someone posts about UK, you can see which of your bat signals go off first, and who can get to the thread the quickest.

Oh the irony.
But please direct me to the other SEC schools who just had 6 players break into a house and assault other students. I’ll gladly post the same in that thread as well.
And FYI - belle belle none of those players participated in the latest practice so obviously the school hearing doesn’t mean shite.

Also I didn’t even post until the 4th page of the thread. And wasn’t planning to until I saw dumbass Belle’s horrible, cringe take on the incident.

They were practicing after the incident in March for several months. I posted that before they even stepped into court.
Stoops decided to hold them out once charges dropped and to allow due process. Hence why they’re not kicked off the team.
They also all plead not guilty, so they must believe they have a shot at not being convicted. If they get convicted then I’ll happily support Stoops letting them go. But they deserve their due process just like anybody else.

Well no shite.
Stoops and likely the fraternity wanted it to go away. No students actively root for football/basketball players to get kicked out of school. It’s hilarious all the UK fans blaming the fraternity when players forced entry into a house.

If this happened at UT it would’ve been a big story the next morning. Props to Stoops for managing to keep it quiet this long.

The incident started at a frat party where they were called the N-word.
I'm shocked that this is being claimed.

No assault charges were filed.

I put significant weight in the school investigation. In the last couple of years, we’ve even dismissed a student from the school based on school investigation, even after charges were dropped. Look up Lloyd Tubman.
Stoops said in his recent statement that there were new allegations made in the discovery that was presented that he wants the school/PD to look into further before he allows the kids to practice again.

I think there are simple truths for all teams that experience situations like this:
1. You grow fond of your team’s players, especially in-state ones and don’t want the allegations to be true. So you naturally extend more due process than other fanbases would.
2. If proven guilty, there should be consequences. In Vito Tisdale’s case in this instance, if he is proven to have been waving a gun around, he should be gone.
3. You’d prefer your coach avoid guys of this character in the future.
4. Despite 1-3, all other fanbases will shite on you, even if they have 10+ players of their own arrested in the months prior.
