The hit-by-pitch call that put Coleman on and led to Vandy's only run so far ... it was a bullshite call. Everyone in the park and watching on TV could hear the ball hit the bat with a ding ... even Coleman stood there not expecting to get the base.
Vandy sure gets the calls in Nashville, but hey, that's baseball. It's just that, that one was a little too obvious ...

Wonder how much longer Chad leaves Hill in the game? He's about reached his normal limit ... but he he going to be really good next year. He's already above average for a true freshman, but next year he is gonna be really good if Holbrook will protect his arm with limited pitch counts this year. He's already at 91 pitches or thereabouts and it's time to pull him.

What is happening right now is what I was worried about ... and I dunno why Chad does this sometimes, especially with Hill. This is exactly what he did against Clemson in game three. He just waits a little too long.

Murray comes in and tanks ... these runs are not on Johnson. Johnson is pitching well ... two or three, maybe four, I dunno, of those runs were on Hill. And that last one was unearned on Dom Thompson-Williams I think ... right?
Both of those fly balls should'uv been caught, they were wind and sun aided but still ... no damn excuses for our two outfielders. We gotta make those plays.
Crap what a shitty inning.
Johnson is looking strong though. If he can get some backup there are still plenty of outs left on the board for us to comeback. I just hate giving up an inning like that on two errors after waiting too long to pull Hill.
