nwaneri and stone both left for the same reasons. they weren’t productive their first season and were told their nil would be cut. others are still willing to pay.
mizzou is hesitant about jackson cantwell for the same reason who is another guy that hasn’t played great competition but has a sky high ceiling. how do you justify making him the highest guy at his position when you think they are still few years away from being an sec caliber starter?
of course, mizzou addressed the nwaneri situation by bringing in two more proven guys wilson and johnson while oklahoma appears to be broke

Oklahomas collective is top 5 Nationally. Donghorn fans hoping OU falls off a cliff for the next 20 years like they did are going to be disappointed.

It doesn't matter how efficiently you dispatch your capital, if you only have a couple million to spend. This is a game where the program with more money wins. Unfortunately for you, 60 years of admitting anyone who can fog a mirror means you don't have the juice to buy a 30M team to win a title.
