Track and field is nice. I participated in High School, but it is not why you are in the SEC. Neither did baseball and basketball put you into one of the top 2 leagues in college sports. Football did that.

Frank was head coach and athletic director, then retired from coaching and became full time athletic director and put effort into building ALL athletic programs under his watch. The reason we are as good as we are in so many sports is because of what Frank did during his tenure.
