I was at the Bama/Hogs game in Fayetteville two years ago when your track coach was honored at halftime (retirement?). I don't recall the specifics but he had won something like 40 championships. The entire stadium, including visiting Alabama fans, gave a lengthy standing ovation.
I think most folks respect championships, regardless of who wins them.

I didn't follow softball this year as religiously as I have in the past (especially after the Tiger girls were eliminated), but I wish to congratulate the young ladies of the Crimson Tide for their National Championship!!! Way to geaux, Lady Crimson Tides (or whatever)
