In fairness to the Taaahd, they couldn't help it if Tennessee hasn't been as good as they were.
Also, to play devil's advocate I would think the Tide's Eastern Division oppponents' records were better in the years previous, and may be stronger in the future when these 'bridge' schedules work themselves out.....
Just couldn't believe that last year and this year the records were so incredibly opposite (27-5 vs 4-28.)

Small sample sizes can prove anything. For example, using the sample size of one (MetryTyger), I can surmise that the entirety of the LSU fanbase is obsessed with Alabama and as dumb as cotton.

Of course since Bama avoids any East team that has any chance of beating them, we won't know if they would whine or not do we?
Playing those powerhouses like Tenn, Mizzou, and Ky sure sure add to the legend .
