That’s not a series that should just end.

It wouldn't "end", it just wouldn't be every single year.

Rivalries are the one of it not the greatest part of college football.

Oklahoma and Nebraska say, "Yawn".

shite changes.

I'm not the one posting threads about what needs to change.

under that format in any given year LSU could draw UGA and Florida while Alabama draws Vanderbilt and Kentucky.

...unless, of course, the schedule-makers made sure to spread out the B6 contests evenly each season.

I don’t see the format in the OP happening either.

Me neither.

So, of the Big 6, LSU and UT are the only two who don't always have to play at least two other Big 6.

LSU fans would be happy with this, although would still probably lobby to play zero of the Big 6.

apparently someone said the exact same thing already

I emphasized traditional rivalries but also tried to make it balanced.

The problem with balance is that it will fluctuate.

Florida wasn't a big deal in the 70s and 80s; then Spurrier and later Urban, and they were a powerhouse.

Tennessee was the #2 team in the SEC for a long time. Now?

UGA has fluctuated a lot. Texas A&M is a roller coaster as well.

No team outside the Big 6 has won the SEC in over 50 years. It doesnt fluctuate

I've seen this same setup on every article with a 3/5 setup. Still disagree with GA/SC.

Why should an annual rivalry go to every other year just to suit you?
& HELL NO it WON'T be played as an OOC game either!
