3:30 in the morning and here is what's it been like since the LSU loss...

...and this is why I have a hard time trying to live with taterheads.

It had to be somewhere around 11:30 PM EST when the FG was made. The wife and I were in a mixed crowd, black tie event, when the ball went through the uprights.

Immediately the chant began, SEC SUCKS SEC SUCKS SEC.SUCKS.

That went on a good couple minutes until the restaurant/bar owner came out and asked them to stop, it was annoying the other half of the place.

They didn't. A fight broke-out when some taterhead stormed in the front door yelling, SEC SUCKS. I think it was between him and one of his friends and security maybe, never got the full story. We could see he was in jorts with a clemson tee shirt on, and flip flops.

Another guy, not a bad guy, but he comes barging in wearing a dr suess cat in the hat hat, blue jeans and a clemson tee shirt except he was older, 60 maybe. Tall hat, orange stripes and when someone rushed over to cut him off he said, "let me in, I'm the top cat."

The what?

"The top cat. We're the top cats muther frickers, we beat both the other cats in the SEC this year."

We put up with shite like that until 2AM. We decided to leave for the hotel - got there and the lobby is full of drunk taterheads chanting SEC SUCKS SEC SUCKS SEC
SUCKS.

I try to find the hotel counter people. They are upstairs dealing with rowdy taterheads. This is in augusta now, so go figure. I say screw this, we're driving home.

Wife is pissed.

I turn to the station that carries clemson football when we cross the Savannah river thinking the post game show might still be on. It wasn't the network show, but they were still taking calls. Here are an hour worth of calls in a nutshell as follows:

We kicked LSU's arse worse than the score indicated.

The SEC is overrated.

Our death valley is the real death valley and this settles that.

The SEC will be lucky to win another bowl game.

LSU stomped the Cocks, we're better than SC, they just got lucky that night.

We're going to win the national championship next year. We'll be 3-1 against the SEC after we beat Georgia to open the season.

SC is lucky they didn't have to play is tonight.

And it went on and on and on... and this is the shite we'll have to listen to for a year.
