The band and it's traditions have evolved and changed a decent little bit since the days when Frank Wickes was the director.

I was there under Frank in the early 2000s and it was 1 away game, 1 saints game and then a bowl game.

They made up for it by booing LSU's band at halftime.

At least they let LSU's band perform. This used to be common at SEC games, but you hardly ever see the visiting band perform at halftime anymore.

Meet Joe alleva. The man who somehow managed to make tiger stadium the worst food in the SEC, corporatized anything to do with lsu for the sake of the dollar, and practically told fans to frick off when they voiced displeasure with it.

Some of our SEC brethren may think you're exaggerating. I assure you, he's not. This is actual video of Joe's reaction to fans booing him at a basketball game.

Perfectly encapsulates the elitist attitude he displayed during his time here.

He meant that in a good way man. He was taking his hat off to Auburn fans booing the injured player being called for targeting. Our fans thought the call was in poor taste considering the young man was carted off the field.

Settle down.
