When Banks went down with the scary neck injury, #32 from Auburn (I believe his name is Wesley Steiner) was motioning for the trainers before the play was even over.

Football is just a game, a very temporary form of entertainment. I was impressed by how this kid saw the bigger picture in the heat of the moment. I plan to follow his career going forward and wish him the best of luck.

That was scary. When I didn’t see him move his feet or hands while being strolled off the field I was worried about that kid. Glad he is going to be okay.

Despite the shite talking that goes on here, we're all mostly decent human beings. Players certainly don't want to hurt each other. When Tua went down on Thursday you saw that here. No one is actively rooting for people to get maimed or die in a sport.

And then the Auburn fanbase booing the targeting penalty after Banks got carted off the field. You would have thought the game was in Baton Rouge.

They made up for it by booing LSU's band at halftime. What a weird thing to boo.

LSU's student section got a pussy chant going when a MSU guy was legit hurt on the field, so i'm not really judging, just making observations.

Not starting nothing... WTF are you talking about?
Both sides have talked for two days now how fun this series is. I parked two car loads of you guys, GAVE tickets to two of you and we had a blast!
Your fellow Tiger just posted something positive yet here comes negative Ned.
I don't recall any booing unless some thought targeting was not going to be called. If there was booing it was from a few idiots that don't know crap and every fan base has those.

I believe you misunderstood his post. I read it that he was impressed that the Auburn crowd expressed its displeasure by booing the targeting call on young Banks. Saying he thought it was cool that even though it benefited AU,the crowd couldn't believe they acutally followed through with the call.

He commented how the AU fans booed the targeting penalty on Banks after he was carted off the field. I think you misunderstood his post.

AU fans gained some points from me after that, and definitely the AU player immediately calling for help.

Other schools enjoy bringing their full marching bands to JHS. Penn State did. Clemson did. LSU. Texas A&M. Tennessee. Of course alabama does every other year. Does LSU take their full band to just 1 away game each year?

Yes just 1 game a year. They actually did 2 this year since the neutral site game against FSU was so close in New Orleans. But the standard is 1.

Actually they were booed, and Auburn football staff came out of the locker room and got in their lines before the performance was over.

It's not a big deal to me, but the wife was mad. But it did happen.

Usually yes, but I seem to recall a few years we didn’t.

I think we may have tried to bring full band when we played at Texas in 2019, but they’re all raging assholes over there, so we brought nothing.
