More impressive to me is the SEC Billion Dollar Brand Club with 7 members & 2 more on the cusp.

That is the only problem with billionaires. Most want a say in how their money is spent

Lots of positive in this. I know many will get their panties in a wad but the reality is the SEC having so many power programs with so much value gives us incredible leverage. The only frustration is Sankey signed that longer term deal with ESPN. SEC has the product people want to see and it's across most sports not just football. Baseball obviously. Basketball is down some this year but overall the programs are getting stronger every year. Even have an All SEC Volleyball Championship.
This also shows how close we are to Super Conferences and how inevitable they are. Put the SEC and B1G together and it's just a few leftovers.

The SEC is rich ... and will keep getting richer.

There's one state school that plays fast and loose with their citizens money and probably puts them toward the top five.
I don't think the citizens mind though so it's all good.

The SEC pulls them up quite a bit not just in terms of revenue but also publicity. State does a smart job of spending as well and has found areas for success. In terms of football I think they are still struggling to figure out the Post Pirate era (RIP). They need a guy like that who has personality and gets them to overperform, they will never succeed trying to take the big guys on straight up.

Good to hear from old 7-5 again.

Lol…both of them will see multiple natties in football before broke has been LSU ever sees one again. Y’all can’t steal enough to play with the big boys anymore.

Big 10 clowns “it’s all cause they paid players & we didn’t & they only play 8 league games”.
