How is saying a player is overrated flaming? Everyone outside of Tuscaloosa knows that Cooper is overrated. No way is he better than Coates or Treadwell. He was like 13th in the SEC last year in yards and only had what 45 catches or something?

I don't see how that is first team material...

Kozan?

247 is starting to suck, big time. First, a top 2017 ranking, then including guys that won't even play this year on a preseason All-SEC team.

"The Standard" my arse.

Is he even a lock to start for AU this season?

None of the Auburn DL really "start". They rotate so much and jump from the inside to out, the starting label doesn't mean that much. But yes, I would say he's a lock to be labeled as a "starter" on the inside.

I'm not saying Coates isn't good either, just that he isn't very good at catching the ball.

I mean he does have a point, Coates does drop the easy ones at times, yet makes incredible plays that make you shake your head. Regardless, I remember one Julio Jones having the same issues. He turned out alright I suppose.

Only 2 Florida players on the 2 deep defensively? Seriously, Florida's had a top 3 defense in the conference (at worst) every single year Boom's been there-- do they think it's magic and that there's no talent?

the joke about Julio is that it would not be fair if he could catch as well.

Doesn't start. Not saying he won't because he's good and think he should. Better than blackson

OL: Arie Kouandjio, Alabama

???

DB: Deshazor Everett, Texas A&M?

Holyyy shittt. Eddie Jackson is worlds better

DL: Dante Fowler, Florida

2nd team? Yeah ok

DB: Robenson Therezie, Auburn

Good player but not all sec good.

I give this list an F+ for having a solid first team offense. Henry and Howard are both good but Howard is the better TE. Henry was just the best receiver on his team last season

He also played knicked up a lot of the season and had Brandon Allen/AJ Derby throwing to him

"Stater" is irrelevant in AU's d-line scheme.

Therezie is most definitely All-SEC good.

Ehhhh, he's made most preseason all-sec 2nd teams (only Lindy's put him as 3rd team)

Every good team has depth. If Adams is all sec he should be on the field more than anyone on that DL

He's good but not deserving over other SEC DBs

why no names given with this statement? you would have more of a point if you argued your stance a little bit...

FWIW, Cooper is great talent and will be drafted high. Coates, Jameon Lewis, and Treadwll will be the three best WR's in the SEC statistically with RSJ and North not far behind(mainly because the three listed above have the Top 3 QB's in the SEC throwing to them), if behind. Bama just has too many elite offensive skill weapons for Cooper to put up first team numbers. Hell, JC had two Bama RB's and OJ Howard on the two SEC teams. That's all with a new Bama OL and a three-deep QB competition. Just don't see it. Nothing against Cooper.

Ehh, DL is the deepest position in the SEC this year. It's nearly impossible to put everyone deserving on both lists. Hell, the media had Robert Nkemdiche as the clear favorite on First Team All-SEC(most votes on defense), but JC doesn't even have RN on either team. It's just single media guys that are bored and trying to stir up votes. He left Nkemdiche off for clicks from OM fans. He left Coates off 1st for clicks from Auburn fans. He put CJ96 on first team for clicks from MSU fans. He put Everett over both LSU CB's to get clicks from LSU and A&M fans. He put Fournette on there to get clicks from everyone

It's all just a "come to 247" act that they have been playing heavily as of late.

That proves you know very little about how AU's DL works.

Well it seems pretty much all preseason All-SEC lists disagree with you.
