His lie has been disproven time and time again

Better question is why would he lie about a donation made to charity from a bet he won instead of celebrating it?

And the bet we made was $100

I doubled the payment to the charity because I hate kids having cancer

Other than Ohio St And Georgia, Texas has a very weak schedule. I say they go 10-2!

Arch will run up video game stats against all the other weak arse teams.

I would skip the Baylor game if I was an Auburn fan looking for a road game. Waco is a meh town. Not really any fun bars there either. I guess because it’s a Baptist school.

Waco's okay. It's just that the party places aren't located close to Baylor.

The river is nice, the heart of campus is nice, there are some decent places north of downtown that are fairly close to campus.

You can go to the grill on the circle and sit at the Bonnie and Clyde booth.

Women like all that Magnolia crap that Chip and Joanne have there.

And my favorite part is the Kolaches. Best area for Kolache eating in the country.

We all need to step our offenses up slightly, partcularly at QB position, we’ll be playing teams who can match us on defense in the playoffs more like Ohio State, Notre Dame, Penn State, and Michigan
Still have best defenses in the country though, undisputed.

Yep I think an easy game before a big game is better than a bye week. I think bye weeks on paper don't give any real advantage.

Is it just me or does it seem UF always has one of the toughest schedules in nccaaf? I see one easy game on the schedule whereas most teams have at least 3 easy games. Bama, Vandy and USCe seem to have 2 easy teams. UF also seems to play the most heated rivals every year. 5 teams are easily hated rivals where you can throw records out the window. Well at least my hopes aren’t high.

Some in the SEC West had it worse for a few years there but the main issue with UF is the SEC never seems to assist us hardly with scheduling. We very rarely get a tuneup/easy game before a top opponent while the top opponents many times gets to play an easy game before us. Same with bye weeks. It seems the past few years we get way less of those before a top opponent compared to the teams we are playing.

Yea. I think Steve or Meyer pissed the schedule maker off when they were at Florida..only way to explain how our schedule is always insane now.

I don't know what we're gonna do when all them coonasses invade our area in late November. We're gonna probably have to ship in trucks full of nutria rat and hydrilla slaw to keep 'em happy while they're here.

Gonna be wild!

on the surface I agree with you -

looking at where the games fall - Texas doesn't play its first SEC game in Austin until Nov 1 - and has just 3 in Austin over the 14 week season - the other 2 SEC home games are week 13 & 14 as well -

the stretch of

at Florida
OU in Dallas (UTA is the *home team)
at Kentucky
at Mississippi State

in consecutive weeks has a chance to blow up their CFP hopes before they ever get to play their first SEC home game in Austin -

6-6 or 7- 5 for us. If Napier goes 8+ with that schedule in the regular season I'll be back on board...but I have doubts he will..his record vs ranked teams is insanely bad

Nope, UF has never travelled north of Kentucky for a football game. Wimps.

TX has a lot riding on that opener against Ohio State. Lose that and TX can't go 6-2 in SEC play and make the playoff with their schedule. They would probably need the tiebreaker to make the SECCG and play themselves in by winning that game.

Maybe I don't pay attention, but can someone describe the apparent historic games and/or rivalry games I'm seeing as the last game of the season for the following teams:

Georgia (Georgia Tech)
Kentucky (Louisville)
S. Carolina (Clemson)
Florida (Florida State)

I am not familiar with playing a non-conference team at the end of the season.
