I'm sorry does the playoff committee only look at CONFERENCE schedules or the entire schedule? Can you go 0-4 in OOC play, win all your SEC games and lose in the conference title game and make the playoff? Probably not because the totality of your schedule matters, not just the conference schedule which UT has 0 control over.
We scheduled Michigan and OSU at their houses back to back years and which they were both coming off Natty wins.
This pathetic narrative that Texas has an easy schedule where we schedule OOC top 5 historic programs (we scheduled bama a few years ago OOC) is hilarious.

This isn't the 2023 Michigan team that won the natty (by cheating). Different coach, different players
Oh the irony! lol
A Bama fan calling out Michigan for cheating. You can’t make this stuff up.
Bama paid players for the last 60 years in football, but heaven forbid that Michigan stole some signs.
Too rich!

I'm questioning the methodology of these SOS rankings because of Wisconsin's placement.
Other than @ Alabama, it looks like a typical B1G schedule, granted they get Tosu, Nike, and Cheatin' arse Michigan.
I see 7 wins as an absolute floor for the median SEC team with that schedule. Now compare that to Vanderbilt's schedule (Vandy is ranked just behind Wisconsin in this SOS ranking) and I see less wins (4-6) as a floor with that schedule for the median SEC team.
