One of the few bright spots throughout the early part of the season

Breggy doesn't have a cannon and isn't super rangy at third, but the run in barehand is something he excels at.

Bregman has world's more range and arm strength than White. Bregman was an elite college SS. White couldn't even think about moving like Bregman does.

Does Gages delivery look weird? Ball always forward? Cant figure out what it is.

Whatever it is, its working.

Bregman hasn't been able to sniff SS in years and years. He's not all that athletic. He rarely makes plays moving toward 3rd or back. His sprint speed has been well below league average since 2021 and his arm strength was always bottom 20-30% since they started tracking it back in 2020. But he has a great glove, is great at moving in (+16 OAA for his career), and makes accurate throws.

Tommy's mouth would water at the prospect of getting to hit to the Crawford seats 80+ games per season

I think I’d actually enjoy taking Hoover seriously for once. I know LSU needs this game more and are pitching a guy to that end but throwing Evans-Mracna-Padysak is a notch above us just forfeiting the game. If Charlie Goldstein isn’t dead, idk why he’s not on the mound right now

Granted, I haven't read a whole lot about UGA's staff, but wasn't Goldstein hurt for a while?

It's possible. They were on the ropes before A&M let them up off the mat a few weeks ago. They seem to have found their confidence again.

Looks like it’s gonna be an early exit for “SEC POY”. Good thing they don’t have far to drive today.

We will run out of pitching before the weekend. Not quite the pitching depth we need for that.

you're comparing him to major league infielders, not college infielders. White very likely doesn't play 3rd in professional baseball

Georgia is lucky this one isn't 10-1. They have played escape artist. With their offense, they just need to hang around. Gage Jump isn't supposed to go deep today.

I sure am. That is why it was supposed to be a compliment to White.

The big outfield is going to make it much more difficult for a team like UGA to score runs in bunches. They can't rely on the long ball here

He left during the Vandy series and missed Carolina and Florida series (so not too long). They said it was only a cramp in his tricep and that he’s been throwing but beats the hell out of me where he’s at if that’s the case.

Offense can’t seem to get going but when you’re playing 4 runs down, you tend to press at the plate.

To be fair, Georgia's park is deep in center too so that one wasn't gone. I see your point overall.
