I think the record is good, but I actually think Missouri and Oklahoma are more tossups than UGA. I think we’ll win against the bulldog especially after they lose to Clemson before us.

12-0
Win the SEC
Win a Natty with a 1st year Coach.

I'd take 10-2 and a playoffs spot in DeBoer's year 1. I think we lose 3 though. To Georgia, Oklahoma and one other one that will be a surprise.

I don't see Bama on that schedule and it's a well-accepted fact that only Bama beats Bama. So, therefore, it's obviously 12-0.

Good analysis. The SEC and Big Ten are now much tougher, so a second (or even third) loss may be perfectly acceptable.
DeBoer beat Oregon twice last year and he beat Texas. That's impressive. I'll go 11-1.

quote:Non playoff bowls were already on life support, expanding to 12 playoff teams pulled the plug. If we thought bowl opt outs were bad before, any player even borderline thinking of entering the draft will sit out non-CFB playoff bowl games no matter how prestigious it used to be.
Exactly and teams will start to sit players in the last game or two to save them for the playoffs like the NFL. The rivalries won't mean as much because of that but we should at least get a lot more exciting post season with the playoffs, but the other bowl games will continue to mean less and less.
