I am wrong a lot, but I wasn't wrong about Bama. You never know how resilient a team is, though because you guys kept playing top teams well and still losing each series 2-1.
Well once you turned the corner, it seems like you guys now expect to win, and I see the confidence.
Auburn has followed a similar path.

Furtado was always a mystery. Big long lefty with a smooth delivery and a sneaky release point. Sits at 93-94, hits 96. Has a nice hook.
But he never figured it out until about 4 weeks ago. Lots of strike outs but lots of walks and barrelled balls to go with it. A lot of us thought he must just though a straight as a string fastball or something.
But he's been very good recently. Wake Forest transfer a few years ago.

Yep - I think a lot of people think we were terrible before the Bo stuff happened, but that isn't really the case. We were just infuriatingly close but couldn't figure out how to take the next step (for the last 3 years, really).

Agree. I was thinking y'all would break through and it was like you just couldn't quite get there.

That's what pisses me off and I'm not even a bama fan. Like this dude was so close, but actively sabotaging his own team. Wtf?
And we see yalls team is pretty good, which makes him look even worse.

Top 1st. AU pitcher strikes out the side.

3 swinging strikeouts in the first inning. Impressive.

Who will be a good replacement for the next Mizzou baseball coach if Mizzou loses this game tonight.

Lots of good coaches if you want to pilfer one.

Alabama had chances to win a few more games this year. And a reliever would just walk in 3 runs. And fans were screaming at the sky to at least take a walk to the mound to calm him down. But nope. That LSU series game got his arse fired not just because of the bets that were made, and the timing of it, but the pitching decisions that were made; or weren’t made; during those games. Those were the nails in his coffin.
I hope Bohannon is good at cutting grass and weedeating, because that is what he will be doing for a few years. I doubt he ever steps foot on a baseball field again as a paid coach.
ETA: I am biased, but I would love to see Alabama sue him for ALL of his past salary for breach of contract. They won’t because they want this to just go away. But I would LOVE if after Omaha they filed suit against him for the money they paid him. Just because… frick him.

You could get Arkansas hitting coach. It worked for Tennessee.

Mizzou was up 3-0 and ended up losing 9 to 7. So I will not hold my breath for an early 1-0 lead.

Bribery will do it if nothing else works.

Have you notice the other 3 SEC games had the losing team being shut out?
